Cleaning
Heat Exchanger Tubes YourPellet StoveRoomHeateris designedwith abuiltinheatexchangertubecleaner.
Thisshouldbeusedevery2or3daystoremoveashbuildupontheheatexchangertubes,whichcanreduceheat
transfer. The handle, for the heat exchanger tube cleaner,
is located in front of the vent tubes on front side of
heater.Slidetherodfronttobackseveraltimestocleanthetubesthenfollowtheinstructionsforashremoval.
FansDANGER:RISKOFELECTRICSHOCK.DISCONNECTPOWERBEFORESERVICINGUNIT
Over time ash or dust may accumulate on the blades of the circulation & exhaust fans. The fans should be
inspected,periodically,andifanyaccumulationispresentvacuumedcleanastheashordustcanimpedethefans
performance.Itis alsopossiblethatcreosotemayaccumulateintheexhaust
fantherefore,thismustbebrushed
clean.
Theexhaustfancanbefoundbehindtheleftsidepanel(facingthefrontoftheheater),thecirculationfancanbe
foundbehindtherightsidepanel.Toaccesstheigniter,removetheairinlettubeandcover(2screws)(Figure27).
Note:Whencleaning,takecarenottodamagethefanblades.
